The HBJ Foundation assists young student-athletes who have completed high school and have been accepted by an accredited college or university to advance their education. We have awarded an annual $2,000 scholarship to a deserving individual(s) who met the requirements listed below and who best exemplified the principles Hollis’ lived by of academic excellence, athletic achievement, and community. Beginning in 2018, the Foundation plans to award a scholarship to one male student athlete and one female student athlete in the amount of $2,000 each. Awardees are selected in the late spring and take part in a HBJ Foundation ceremony to celebrate their success in the early summer.
